Another Small Collection of Romantic Quatrains by Richard Stephen

A quatrain is simply a four-line verse with a rhyming scheme. A single quatrain may comprise a poem or any number of quatrains can be put together to form a quatrain poem. I was first exposed to these elegant little poems when reading the works of Robert Herrick. Herrick was an English clergyman and poet who was a master of the quatrain. It was his poems that encouraged me to try my hand at writing quatrains. Another Small Collection of Romantic Quatrains is another of my attempts at writing romantic quatrains. Enjoy!
